Title: Why does computer freeze ?

When I use my friends eMachine PC using Windows Vista, it works fine for awhile but then it starts to load slower and soon after it, it keeps freezing no matter what I do. I use Optimum online service. Is the problem with the PC, Windows Vista or with the internet service? It is very annoying.

1. Please, post some computer info:
- processor type, amount of RAM (hold Windows logo key, hit Pause/Break key)
- hard drive size/free space (open "My Computer", right click on hard drive letter, click "Properties")
- security programs in use (antivirus, firewall)

2. Download, and install SpeedFan: http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php
