Title: How to get rid of < symbols along left hand side of outlook emails

Hi all,

My wife's coworker has issues with all her emails having the < sigh down the left hand side of the email. I have searched around and done many tests, but cannot replicate or figure out hoe to get rid of these. Any suggestions? Please see attachment for screen shot.  Thanks all!
