Title: Computer randomly shuts down HELP 2

Let me go into more detail:
Whenever i go into a full screen game such as grand theft auto, after 5 or 10 minutes my laptop shuts
down, despite being plugged into the mains!!!
This is getting really annoying...
could it be virus?
some try and help me!!!!

As Flame advised, please stick with message forum etiquette and keep it to just one discussion thread per topic (that makes it easier for us to help you out).

Now, we need more info. to determine what to suggest you do to fix the prob.  

• Is this an on-line game or a game not connected to the Internet?

• Does this happen only when you are playing this game or does it happen when you are playing other games, too?

• What changed on your computer just prior to these symptoms? (did you install a new program? add a new CD drive? notice that your anti-virus program detected a threat?)

• What version of Windows are you using? (98? 98 SE? XP Home?)

• What version of DirectX is installed? (to find out, click Start > Run > type dxdiag and click OK).

• Do you receive any error message?  If so, exactly what does the message say?
