Title: USB stick Problem

hi i have this 4g usb stick.
i went to format it and now windows does let me open it, it say please insert disk.
the details say it is USbest Usb.
i have tried some utiltes and it says nothing on the serial no. , to me it loks like there is no partition on it.


Can anyone please help me with this on how i can fix it.

hi i did not get this from ebay.
i forget what brand it is, and it doesn't tell me.
i tried to down it but i can not find the actual download .

how can i simply download this

i ran the program and it said
there is no media in specified device
what can i do now
the top says usbest usb2flashstorage 0.00(0Mb)

I think your USB stick is dead, is it under warranty?

Probably the USB stick is defective. That message is the usual one if the firmware has been corrupted or the memory chips have failed. If it is under warranty, return it.

How old is the drive?

Is there a lock or security switch on it?

it is no longer under warranty i will just replace it.
it is only 4g they are about $10
