My computer download some of the picture files will be compressed to height around 5mm. Izit a kind of virus infection? Or it is my internet browser problem?

there probably resized on the page unless its not displaing an preview. Never heard of any infection doing this, if its like that it just is.

let says the picture file normal size is 600x900, when i saved it into my picture folder. I view it and its witdh become infinite size and the height would become compressed.
But the status of the picture dimension still 600x900.

What is your current screen resolution?

Saved on the computer, not on the internet.

My resoulution is 1024x768. Yes, i did save pic on computer.
The pic is in .jpg file, if i save in .bmp it would be as usual.
It was something awful when i tried to send the pic to my fren in msn. It would become normal sized to be recieved for my fren

What are you using to view the pictures?

normal vista window photo gallery image view.

Open them with MSPaint. How is it?

It prompted 'Paint cannot read this file. This is not a valid bitmap file, or its format is not currently supported.'

I didnt say that, I said its resized cause everyone see's the image differntly so its sized on the site so it can be viewed fine by everone.

For the last time, the image is NOT on a website. It is on Malaizai's computer. On his computer, the image is distorted. On other computers, it is fine.
Malaizai, when did this start? Is this the same with all pictures?

It started 2 weeks ago. Yeah. mayb i should use the word distorted.

Just to confirm, you cannot edit the picture in MS Paint?

Cannot, the file cant be read in paint even.

If you want to open it in mspaint then first create a new pic in paint then save it as a .jpg file, then close it.
Then open your downloaded .jpg file with mspaint, that should work.
It's as if mspaint doesn recognise .jpg files until you create on within mspaint to convince it that it can read them. ???
