Title: Menu Editing
Post by: OldFellar on August 08, 2009, 02:54:18 AM
How do I edit the right click menu that appears when right clicking on desktop icons. I have an item that won't go away even after uninstalling the assosiated program ( namely a Reg Cleaner )?

Try this..

Click START, All programs, Accessories, system tools, disk clean up..

do a disk clean up and see if it makes the item in the menu go away...

Or download Ccleaner.....that may work

Download, and install ShellExView: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html
Look for Context Menu items. Disable what you don't need.

My thanks to all for your help. the final help that worked a treat was the gem of information from " Broni ". That was well worth downloading as I'm quite sure that I will need it again in the future. I downloaded both versions. ( 32bit + 64bit ). Again, my thanks.
