How can I stop the printer from pushing out paper when
I turn on my computer hp 895 cxi dual core 2.0 4 gig mem 8600 nvidia graphics win xp pro
-
Unplug the printer.
-
Or turn it off.
-
Is this the only solution ? How about putting it in the garbage, but seriously no one has an answer to this?
-
i have 4 printers that do that
3 that dont
i would say its normal
keep it off during boot
and turn it on once the os is loaded
-
What kind of printer is it? Make / model?

hp 895 cxi (http://search.hp.com/query.html?charset=iso-8859-1&lk=1&la=en&nh=10&st=1&rf=0&qs=&hpvc=sitewide&uf=1&qr=1&qt=895cxi&cqt=895+cxi&sp=1)
That printer is quite old, isn't it? How long has it been doing this? Did you have a print que waiting from a previous session when you turned on your computer?
Does it just push paper out or is it actually printing something?
