Presently I'm running IE 7, but wish to install IE 8.
Is it advisable to DL IE 8 over IE 7, or should I uninstall IE 7?
Thanks :)
-
You can't uninstall IE7.
You simply download IE8 and install it.
However, be aware, some people are having problems with IE8.
Switching to Firefox would your better option.
-
I have IE8 on all of my systems and have never had a problem. But there's no reason it has to be IE OR Firefox - you can simply use both.

I have IE8 installed on all my systems as well, and it works fine, but still there are number of people out there, which are having problems with IE.
That's why I'm cautious with forcing people to upgrade to IE8.
-
Hey Broni, you're one of the guys on this forum I won't argue with - I greatly respect your posts. I'm just pointing out that the OP can easily upgrade to 8 and still have the option of using Firefox.

Allan
I recognize your great computer knowledge as well, so I won't argue either ;D

Well gee, if I wasn't married...... ;D

LOL. You don't have to worry, though, because I'm a straight guy :)

Dziekujem Broni.
Will DL Firefox, as I respect all your opinions.
What is the learning curve for using Firefox? With both
IE7 and Firefox, will I be able to DL windows updates thru
Firefox or must I use IE7?
-
Use IE for Windows Updates...although FireFox has a plugin for doing so i'd still use IE.
Not much of a learning curve at all...i think you'll be pleasantly suprised.

Dziekujem Broni.
How do you know that? :)

Why would anyone fly that Polska Flag, except a true Patriot. :-)))))
Thanks for the advise, oh, BTW my spouse is Polska.

I see...say "Hello" to a fellow Pole :)
