Title: uPnp port mapping

Hi,

I have a question regarding forwarding ports when downloading torrents. What does it do? If I uncheck the "enable UpnP port mapping", I can still download. My application says that the port assigned is not open. But I can still download?

So what exactly does port forwarding do?
