Yesterday I was on the web when i decided to plug in my ipod to upload it. My computer froze as soon as i plugged it in and would not unfreeze. When i restarted it, it came to a screen that said:
windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt
<Windows root>\sysytem32\ntoskrnl.exe.
Please reinstall a copy of the above file
I cannot get out of the screen and if i restart it again, the same message pops up.
Please help!

Did you try to unplug the iPod and then restart? Or did you leave it in? If you left it in, try unplugging it and then restarting.
Oh, and welcome to Computer Hope!

I once plugged in a sansa mp3 player, and the computer wouldn't start so I unplugged it, and it started.

We still respond to what Jesus said and that was 2000 years ago.
Some ideas are timeless.
