Title: Task Manager gone missing

Hi to you all ,i hope you can help me ,for some reason i have lost my Task Manager i am not sure if i have touched something i should not ? any way when i press Ctr  Alt  Delete i get the message Task Manager has been disabled by your administrator ,, but i am the administrator ,any help would by very welcome ,Barrie

What happens when you try to start regedit? If it's the same thing you probably have some malware. Go to the malware section of this forum and follow the instructions at the top of the page.

To both Allan and Spoiler thank you for taking the time to answer my plea ,i repaired the problem following Spoilers lead ,but thank you again for your time ,i am a silver surfer with only a few years on my computer but i will continue to visit Computer Hope with a chance i can help others as you both helped me ,thanks again barrie
