Sir,
I have been asked to have either Mozilla Fire Fox or Google Chrome or IE 7.0 for an online computer course.
From my computer, I could make out that I am having IE 6.0. Now what should I do ?
a) Install Mozilla Fire fox from a free download tab I found ;
b) or Seek updation of IE 7.0 and install it
c) or Install Google chrome
(I would prefer (b) above)
What would be the advise on the subject by learned members/ adm auth.
Thank you,
Rgds

Do both a & b - no reason not to have more than one browser (most of us do). Update IE to version 7 or 8 and also download Firefox from mozilla.com
I'm not a big fan of Google Chrome, but you can ALSO download & install that along with the others and see what you think.

Firefox is my favorite and it as so many great features, so definitely download Firefox

i would say go with Fox personally, but if your more comfertable with IE 7+ go with that, or like the Dude says Just get both. ;D

Thank you all the three of you for the kind advise. I think I shall go for both now i.e. IE-7 or 8 and Firefox and may be after a month try out Chrome also.
Once again thanks to all.

You can download most all browser, except IE, as a portable and load them to a USB pen drive. I have Chrome, FireFox, Opera, and SeaMonkey on mine
