Title: I can't seem to share my internet connection?

 I connect to the internet on my computer but can't seem to share it so another computer connect to mine on like a small home network can use it. Please help. I would like ot know how to do this with dial up and broadband please :) ???

Not nearly enough information.

What OS are you using? Check your firewalls. Did you use the Network Setup Wizard? How is your network setup...wired, wireless, a combination of both? Is there a router in this picture?

Moving data across dial-up is slow enough, sharing the connection will reduce it to glacial speed.

I have a feeling that this person has to do a certain homework assignment.
