your question has confused me, what are you trying to find out, why you dont have full 2 gig usable or why is your computer so slow? If its the slow one i meant to say mabye your using too much space of your harddrive? Even windows 7 slows down when your hard drive starts to get full, it may also be that your running too many applications if it is the case that you think your computers slow and your ram isnt responding.

try defragging and also deleting unessicary items, not alot i can help you with i am not running windows 7 so i cannot trial and error.

But if your questions completely diffrent please explain it more clearly for me  ;D x

The OP stated his issue clearly...
You are responding in a Topic where 2 people are posting issues...

Right now you are just contributing to that confusion.

Sorry I haven't replied recently. Today I had a chance to actually go inside the computer and this is what I found out.

Running in Triple Channel Memory Mode:

On the BIOS it read: Slot A1: 2 Gigs Slot B1: None Slot C1: 2 Gigs

so I switch the sticks in Slot A and B and the result is

      Slot A1: None Slot B1: 2 Gigs Slot C1: 2 Gigs

Just to make sure I switched one more time, this time the stick in a1 with the stick in c1. the results

      Slot A1: 2 Gigs Slot B1: 2 Gigs Slot C1: None

Tried in every slot that 1 stick never shows up so I'm guessing it is dead and I need to have it replaced. Kinda sucks since I just got it 6 months ago.

I did what you said and then called Corsair customer suppport and since I had checked into everything and done the troubleshooting they decided that the problem was the stick and are sending me a new set up RAM.

Thanks for all the help Patio and everyone else who replied. Not only did I get the problem solved but I also got a new set of RAM out of it :P
