CDRW question

What is the difference between A CDR(CD writer?) and a CDRW(CD rewritable?) drives, what is the difference between a 52x24x52 and a 52x32x52 CDRW or CDR drives?  can I install a CDRW on an Old pentium166 system?....pls enlighten me me on this guys....help?

What is the difference between A CDR(CD writer?) and a CDRW(CD rewritable?)  you may have answer your own question.....cdr.......you can read/write to once written cannot be used again.....a cdrw  can be used over and over again...>>>.like the old floppy disks....

52x24x52 and a 52x32x52  are speed realated....like the speed of the drive and how fast it write to disks

can I install a CDRW on an Old pentium166???>>  Well i would have thought NO without upgrading all the hardware....i would say not.....but i maybe wrong....old tech verses new tech......
