As per usual, I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place. I tried doing a search of this website, but I didn't understand how to use the information I saw.
Recently, when I go online, I sometimes get a popup that reads:
Message from the webpage:
Stack overflow at line: 104
If you try to close the message it pops right up again and since you can't do anything while the message is up I have almost no choice but to reach for the power button. (The other choice is to move the message around on the screen so it's right next to some other control button - X to close the window or something to open a new tab and mouse VERY QUICKLY from the x to close the message to the control to close the window or open a new one/ or tab .
The information on this website says to go to config.sys and change the amount of stack [memory?]. I typed config.sys in "Run" but I don't know how to find the place I need to go to check the amount of Stack I have or to change it. I don't know what is being "stacked" or why I'm getting this message now. Since I don't know what the stack is, I don't know if there's anything I can do to reduce my stack needs.
Mods, if my quetion is in the wrong place on the forums, please move it to the right place.
