NT was the first version of Windows that did not run on DOS.  XP is based on NT.

I hope that makes sense.

harry- those aren't related to NT, they are related to 2000/XP, when you install the recovery console.

Since I specifically recall you mentioning somewhere that you installed it I'm not surprised :P

EDIT: also, if you've ever posted in the malware forum, sometimes they get you to install the recovery console
I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

i don't i think i did , i can't remember honest , but it did not download , IT SAYS as i need to upgrade my pc , so can i remove this or is it needed
