Trojan Virus
« on: June 05, 2010, 11:27:11 PM »
So I have a major virus that won't allow me to use any program on my computer without an error message stating that file    .exe application can't be opened and asking me if I would like to purchase antispyware software.  Also I randomly get an error message stating My computer is infected by a virus would i like to block the virus and use protection.  When I answer yet to the software my internet explorer window opens with the option to purchase the spyware.  I also get random pop us of *censored* and porn advertisments.  I really need some step by step help if somebody would be kind enough to help me.  I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 with Windows Vista O.S.  I appreciate anyone taking the time out of their night to help me.

    • Please do not attach logs or post them in Quote/Code boxes unless requested.
    • Please do not ask for help elsewhere (in this site or other sites). Doing so can result in system changes, which may not show up in the logs you post.
    • If you have already asked for help somewhere, please post the link to the topic you were helped.
    • We try our best to reply quickly, but for any reason we do not reply in two days, reply to this topic with the word BUMP
