system restore not working

im having an issue ever since I installed this sound driver so im trying to run a system restore but everytime I try it I get this error message saying system restore failed your files were not changed I have never had an issue with it before any idea whats up?

Did you try different date?
Also, try system restore from safe mode.

In my opinion, it's better, then System Restore, and I use it on all my Windows versions.

Did you download your sound driver online? on what website? Try posting your Windows Error Reporting. Click Start, Run ,Type msinfo32, OK, Go to Software Environment, Click on Windows Error Reporting. Post also your Sound Device on Components, click the + sign and click Sound Device.

Run services.msc and see if system restore service is running.

Do you have Norton antivirus?

got it working guys booted the computer in safe mode then ran system restore I guess it shut off what ever was stopping it from working thanks for the help guys
