Easier way to do this

my computer stop wrking when it uploads it comes to black screen like it loads up the it stops and says missing files corputed press f8 or r then when i press r it goes to sleep mode and same thing happes so i press f8 but i dont kno what to choose from there so i put safe mode but shows same black sceen again and i dnt have a recovery disc but a friend has a compac recovery cd and application driver cd so what do u perfer for me to do please help

Seems like some of her system files are corrupted and need to be recovered.

ok my computer says this : windows coldnt start because following file is missing or corrupt system
