the European Union, being comprised mostly of countries whose governments abhor any sort of capitalism

Are you talking about a "European Union" in a parallel universe?

Google Chrome is by far my favorite, but when I'm using Ubuntu I tend to stick to Firefox.

I don't use IE unless I need to.

I am quite proud that one of my first topics ended up going for more than one page lol.  And I found out yesterday that under my BIOS there is a setting that limits the memory on the graphics card...and it was set to 8 mb(I have a 512 mb card).....explains why google earth was acting funny doesn't it.

of course there are multiple threads on the same subject.  I just tried to make mine different by posting actual results from tests......something that is unbiased......however I have yet to find a user friendly way to test the actual browser speed rather than the connection speed like speedtest.net does.  If anybody knows of one that is easy to use and works in all browsers I will run some more tests and add them to the original post.

chrome does fine for me. It does what its supposed to do. Actually I use the chromeplus version which is an improvement over the original.

let me guess! a FF addon that let's you change your headers, and you reported FF as chrome and got mysteriously better results then before you changed it, or something to that effect?
