    Wifi Help, Won't work
    « on: June 22, 2010, 09:11:05 AM »
When I first got my laptop it worked finee, but then I installed LSPatch, this patch was suppose to get rid of the shutdown, and log off menus. I installed it, it didn't work, but this was not all that didn't work, i couldn't see my taskbar. So i decided to reinstall xp, The computer worked great, but my wifi didn't work. When I bought the computer, the person i bought it from told me he had upgraded the wireless in it. How do i get my wifi back?

I seriously need help, because i need the Wifi fast.

After installing the OS you needed to install the drivers, starting with the chipset driver. Did you do that?

Well, that's what you need to do.

Go to the website of the laptop manufacturer and download all drivers (video, audio, chipset) and install them. Install the chipset driver FIRST.
