    Help!

I think i have accidentally overwritten a dvd with very important movie clips on.
I dragged a file by mistake over the top of the dvd icon and now when ever i put the dvd in the drive it just says that it only has one item on the disk and it is the file that i dragged in by mistake.

Please tell me there is a way to get the clips back, i am in serious trouble otherwise.

    Thank you.

If DVD-R was finalized, it can't be overwritten.
If it wasn't finalized, you can overwrite some file only with another file with very same name. Even then, it'd ask you first, if you want overwrite existing file.
If it was a file with different name, it couldn't overwrite existing file. If it wasn't enough space there for a new file, Windows would have told you.
