yellow screen
« on: July 03, 2010, 10:19:17 AM »
I just installed a new mouse onto my computer. I had to shut down in order to do this. Now when i turned it back on, my screen has a strong yellow tinge. I know it isn't the monitor itself, because when i had on just the monitor, the color on the color check box was normal

Check monitor cable. Such kind of effect may be caused by lose, bad cable, or bent pin.

degauss is helpful, in my case it was caused by having a subwoofer to close to the screen! (magnets around monitor)
