Computer will not turn on

My computer went off in a storm was on a power strip. Wont come on. HP has green power light on back lit while plugged in but does nothing

have you tried to change the fuse in the plug socket ? .. make sure its the same amp as the one that is in ther or you could have some problems

That power strip will need to be replaced...along with the good advice above...
Most are only designed to take 1 hit...after that they still will provide power but they have outlived their useful lifespan...
