You posted elsewhere that your system is infected. If that's the case go to the following link and follow all instructions: http://www.computerhope.com/forum/index.php/topic,46313.0.html

I keep trying to play a java based MMORPG, but all i see is a white screen where the game should be.

I recenty bought this computer, it is Windows XP, so i have no clue what the problem is. when i hold my mouse cursor over the java thingy on the bottom of my computer screen it says java is disabled.

I try to open java but it says in a box     Java(TM) Control Panel     at the top, then in the middle of the box is

This application has failed to start because the application configuration in incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

      C:\Program Files\Java\Jre6\bin\javaw.exe -Xbootclasspath/a:"C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\..\lib\deploy.jar" -Duser.home="C:\Documents and settings\Billy" cam.sun.deploy.panel.ControlPanel

      ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

the only thing with the word java in the name is called Java(TM) 6 Update 11     size: 90.49MB     used: rarely
and when i try to remove it. it says

The Windows Installer Servise could not be accesssed. This can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode, or if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assistance.

      ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i don't have any info on contacting this computers support personnel and i am 100% sure that my computer is not on safe mode.

other programs say the same exact thing. here is a list of their names:

      Dell Cineplayer
      Dell Driver Reset Tool
      DellSupport
      Hp Image Zone Express
      Quick Time
      WordPerfect Office Pack 3
      ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I tried to include all the info i thought might be useful in solving my problems. but if there is any info that is necessary that i didn't include in this post. please tell me what the info you need is and where i can get the info. i will either update this post or make another post, including more info if anymore info is needed.

I am sorry i didn't read the "Please read This first" thread closely enough, if someone would please delete this and i will make a new thread.
