Internet Explorer Script Error
« on: July 28, 2005, 05:14:27 PM »
I am getting an Internet Explorer Script Error everytime I try to run Windows XP practice exam. I installed microsoft's Microsoft Readiness Review Exam 70-270 practice exam. I get the following error when the program loads:

An error has occurred in the script on this page.

Line: 17
Char: 1
Error: 'objBigList.documentElement' is null or not an object
Code: 0
URL: file://C:\Program Files\MCSE Readiness Review\70-270\Engine\RRev.htm

Do you want to continue running scripts on the page?

If I click yes or no, I get a similar error message:

An error has occurred in the script on this page.

Line: 158
Char: 1
Error: Operation is not allowed when the object is closed.
Code: 0
URL: file://C:\Program Files\MCSE Readiness Review\70-270\Engine\RRev.htm

I have Windows XP SP2 and Internet Explorer version 6.0.

I also have McAfee Virus Scan running on my computer.

Can anyone give me a clue as to how to resolve this problem?

I called Microsoft and they said they cannot help me cause I bought my OS from Dell.  The nerves of them when its their product.

Try the following:

1. Start
2. Settings
3. Control Panel
4. Internet Options
5. Advanced
6. Restore Defaults button.

If I were you, I would switch to Mozilla Firefox.
