What will work better than my Linksys network adapter?

I use a Linksys Wireless B WUSB network adapter that hooks up via USB to find unsecured wireless networks for my internet connection.I know this Linksys is outdated & its not working like it used to.
I also sometimes use a wireless g PCMCIA wireless card too.
Well neither of these are working very well for me.
Can someone suggest something that will find & allow me to connect to unsecured networks?

Why don't you get a connection for yourself? This way you don't have to go around trying to rip off people of thier bandwidth
