my laptop's operating system is Vista. It came with McAfee installed, but I want to remove McAfee, and install another anti virus program. I went to add/remove programs and removed all the McAfee programs I could find, but when I try to install the new program, the computer tells me that I need to remove McAfee security center with virus scan 12.1 before I can install the new program? I have used search, and it come up blank, I went into program files and there is no McAfee. Why is the program saying to remove a program that is not on the computer? And how do I get past this point and install the new antivirus program? I have rebooted after removing the McAfee
