windows screen colour
« on: August 01, 2005, 11:24:54 PM »
My computer changed the colour of the monitor screen display from the normal white etc background to blue.
I have tried a lot of different settings in the display appearance to no avail.
There are no viruses that are showing in the computer.
Please help!!

A quick test would be to try a different monitor.

It takes a lot of different scans to be confident of this.

Have you tried to simply set the Windows theme?

Maybe a damaged/corupt video driver.....reload them or the monitor drivers.

Type this in run box dxdiag  it should report more...

Problem is fixed I changed the monitors around now it works perfectly.  One of the little plugs in the connection cord was a little bent -  probably was the problem.

Good to hear you solved it. And we did not even have to recommend looking for bent pins.  :)
