    no connection, or very weak
    « on: October 14, 2010, 09:22:57 PM »
Hey guys, I have a HP Pavilion DV5-1000nr laptop that the left hinge became very loose causing the display to flicker white. I decided to be proactive and disassemble the machine and repair the loose hinge screws. Now that I have reassembled it I am having trouble connecting to my wireless internet. I have always had a very strong signal, but now it is minimal, and requires me to trouble shoot the connection, which says it repairs it, but it is very weak still. >:(
If I have the antennea wires inside touching things could this be the problem? Or is there something I may check?

After discussing the install with a co-worker, I realize I never plugged the two antennea leads back in to their plugs. DUH!! Captain Obvious  ;D
