Yes...that should get you going...if in fact they are Win7 drivers...
I usually re-boot after every driver install/re-install...

If you want to install Windows 7 on your NL1 2go PC Convertible Netbook you will first need to update the BIOS on your 2go PC.

There is a link to the bios image. Did you do this? You need a DOS bootable USB thumb drive.

Also on that page is a link to the Windows 7 drivers.

WOW...i did not even see that page.....i did not update bios......i did the win 7 install via usb....is that the same as 'dos' bootable usb?

what do i do, should i update bios..?
i will keep waiting for download to work..?

also, i dont see any other model other than the n1.......i have the convertible one (there is only 1 ), if that helps

I suggest you wait until you have downloaded and tried the Windows 7 drivers before attempting to flash the BIOS.

ok, i d/l chipset drivers and installed then rebooted, then installed wlan drivers and rebooted then installed lan drivers and at the end said realtek ethernet was not found, and then finished installing...i thought maybe at least the wireless would work but still no internet connection, and the troubleshooter is useless

You should have got an XP restore CD with the netbook. If not, CTL will send you one for $5. Restore it to as-new condition and if the network hardware still does not work then you have failed hardware. Is it still under warranty?

i bought it from someone else...used in great condition.....when i got it i tested it and everything worked 100%, got on the internet no problem...
