Help with new sound card SB 5.1
    « on: November 27, 2010, 08:54:44 AM »
Hey, I've just bought new sound card, Creative Sound Blaster 5.1 VX...

I've installed drivers and software from CD which one was included to my Sound Card box...

But there is no sound and I've 2 problems...

Why the *censored* there is a "!" mark in a yellow circle ??? What does it mean ???

And it's when I'm trying to launch Device manager which came with Creative CD drivers installation...

Please help, otherwise I'm taking my pc to fix center on monday...

Remove and reseat it with all power removed....

It may be a dead card.

So should I try turning off my PC and then power off all computer components and itself ?

        EDIT: Still same problem..

If reseating the card and reinstalling the drivers don't help then you should pay attention to what Patio suggested and exchange the card.
