I just put together a computer that I want to use as a home entertainment center it will be the main computer and later it will also serve as a security system. I want to be able to get information from that computer to my wife's and also my computer. The main computer will not be on the net. I plan to use Linux for the OS. The question is how do I tie this all together? Do I just tie this computer in to the router? What do I have to do to be able to get stuff from the house computer to the other computers? The wife's computer has windows vista on her desk top and windows seven on her lap top. My computer has Linux Mint. There is no sharing set up on any of the computers as of yet.
