Picasa Problem
« on: December 04, 2010, 05:28:19 PM »
I haven't made a photo CD in a very long time and was totally stone-walled when I tried to pick individual pictures to export to make a CD with Picasa.  It would tell me that I could export an entire album but did not give me a choice to pick only the pics that I wanted.  I read the instructions several times, went to Google to see if anyone else had had this problem and came up with nothing.  Are one of you out there familiar enough with Picasa to steer me in the right direction.  It seems to me that the more they "improve" software programs, they more user-unfriendly they become. ???  Maybe it's just me?  Thank you

No, have not used it.
Have you already gone back to the site and read the documentation?

Picasa is a software download from Google that helps you organize, edit, and share your photos. It's free, and easy to use.

Thank you for your replies.  I did go on line to Picasa Forums and there wasn't anything on the list of Picasa problems that resembled mine.   The program that came with my Canon A30 doesn't seem to want to cooperate in this area either.   Do any of you know of a free photo program that will allow me to pick individual files and export them to a CD?

Picasa always works well, but sometimes, it fails to detect my new photos, I have to cost more time to find my new photos.

when you download picasa the first thing you have to click to set up is to choose ( search doc's and pic's ) or ( search my whole computer ) try settings for these and check it or else delete and set it up again . hope this helps
