I forgot the password to a username. Its been quite a while, but i really need it. Thankfully ive been using the same computer for the past 5 years. Is there a way that i can (easily) find the password? This is kind of an emergency. Iv got time, but "as soon as possible" sounds really nice.

Im using Windows7. Im trying to log into a website with an old username, and i need to find the password. Ive tried going into the cookies to get it, but it wasnt there. Is there anything i can do to get this password?

The website isnt very well maintained. And i really would like to hurry. Can i search through my computer to find a the username im using and see if the password comes up?

what if i were to use a "master" password? Could i access it that way? Just change ALL my passwords to the same thing.

I have just scoured through my entire computer as best i know how, and i didnt find the password to this website account. Is there really nothing i can do? I wish i could contact that admin, but hes not responding. His last login date was like a year ago. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!! thank you.

Well, is using a "master" password an option? Could i view all of my web information via a master password? Could i even access this website that i dont have the password to anymore? Is that how master passwords work? Because if its an option, im going to do it.

Just bad luck i guess. Or perhaps its a password i stopped using a long time ago. So i just forgot it.

I've never forgotten a password...so i don't know what your going thru.
As a matter of fact i can still logon to my library account using telnet.

Generally sites that are user password required have an option called "forgot password" to click on and will allow you a process to create a new password. Does this site offer that option? truenorth
