connecting problem pear to pear systems

hi this is sami.   my frnd have 2 system xp 2 install on in.  i connected pear to pear cable configare corectly. but it connected after 1 day. same settings work. i mean like same workgroup etc....

1. what was the problem is not connect that time. why it take too much time. i restart both computers 3 times but not work another day it work without any change settings.

2. Today same systems have problem Not showing sharing folder but it connected with cmd.  i use this command to open lan drive.

explorer \\192.168.0.6  it open that network share drive. But not showing folder and work group systems.

3. i got this problem 3 times on other systems. os is Xp 2

Hi, Sami.  Welcome to Computer Hope.  I'm guessing that English isn't your first language but I'm sure you speak what ever language you speak better than I do.

I'm not sure what you are trying to do.  Just connecting two computers to each other, or also trying to connect to the internet.  Please go into more detail what you are trying to do.

By the way, pear is a fruit.  Peer to peer is what computers do.
