Windows 7 upgrade
« on: February 04, 2011, 07:39:37 AM »
Trying to upgrade my friends HP a850e desktop (completely stock)  from XP to 7 ultimate, and get error message that the computer doesn't have an 'internet adapter'.  Does this mean we must go to the HP site and pay $149 for help, or is there somewhere else I might find help....or does someone here have a 'pathway' we might follow?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

You need all the Win7 Drivers for that machine....Free from the HP site...
MBoard Chipset drivers should be installed 1st.
