It's a desktop PC from Emachines. I'm not sure how to find the answer to the second question.

Try 127.0.0.1  www.funorb.com in your HOSTS file.

Your browser looks in the HOSTS file first then if there's an entry it will use the IP address to the left of it.
You can use your HOSTS file to redirect your browser to any website you choose. 127.0.0.1 is your local computer which will cause your browser to display a can't connect screen.

      69.72.169.241  www.funorb.com
Will send him off here to Computerhope.

Glad to see someone giving a helpful response instead of trying to be Dr. Phil.  This site is Computer Hope, not Roommate Hope...although that may be worth patenting...

Is that dig directed at me? If people specifically mention human factors, I don't see why we should not comment.

Who or what is "Dr Phil"?

Dr Phil is to American TV like Salmon Trout is to CH.
He always has the right answer for any problem.

They don't put here on network TV.
You might say the Dr. Phil is the Disney version of Dr. Ruth.

Here in Britain, we used to see Dr Ruth in the US sections of "Weird Foreign TV clips" programs.

OK, now we have the answer to the topic.
The OP will edit the Hosts file and point to one of these:
Videos for videos of Dr. Ruth
[You need your parents permission to watch Dr. Ruth in some states.]

Yes, of all the people discussing the OP's personal problems with his/her roommate, I was directing my comment specifically at you alone.
