mac book pro help!!!!!

hey wondering if theres anyone out there that can help

a few days ago my mac book pro screen just decided not to come on my laptops working fine you can hear everything loading etc i think its the lsds that have gone, its getting fixed later this week but i need to get my dissertation from it so i can get it finished and handed in. ive tried connecting it to my tv via a cable but still nothing. is there anyway i can get the word files needed without have to wait till its fixed?

any help would be great

    looks like you should probably just bring it into the mac store and get someone from the genius bar to assist you on how you can bring it back.  it might be costly if you don't have applecare, but they're probably the ones to help you get it up and working again.  good luck

      Instead of the tv connect it to an external monitor.

        I would just take the Hard drive out and use it in another machine, or use an external hard drive enclosure, this will allow the hard drive to act like an external drive.
