a couple months ago my dad unplugged our printer from our computer and now that we've plugged it in it wont print anything, ive tried to reinstall the software for it but to no avail,  our printer is a hp psc 1350 all in one printer, and our computer is a compaq presario.

That would mean that a cartridge is not working.
The contacts may have become dirty from just sitting.
Have you already rad this?

Read down and find the place where it says
"Figure 7: Cleaning and drying the electrical contacts"
