I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE A FIX FOR  THIS TRICKY O/S THAT WORKS A TREAT.
GET A FREE PARTITION TOOL AND FORMAT 5 TIMES  TO ENSURE  THE NASTYS HAVE GONE.
A DRAIN OF RESOURCES AND HARBOURS MISERY.
IT SHOULDNT BE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD AND PUT UPON GENERAL PUBLIC.

GRAPHICS AND AUDIO TERROR..SIMILAR TO TRAPPING FINGERS IN CAR DOOR.... WOW.

Well good news! It's not, and never has been. If you downloaded it that might explain the fact that your copy of NT4, which was released years ago and runs fine on most Pentium-class machines, was a drain of resources on what I presume to be a newer machine. It also explains where the misery came from.
I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.
