INTERNET CONNECTION PROBLEM
« on: August 21, 2005, 11:08:02 AM »
I am having a problem with internet connection, I can not load AOL.  When I did have it I could not start it, they told me to uninstal aol completely and try loading it again, now I can't even load it, even though I can connect to the internet through internet explorer aol can not see it.  I have dsl cable , I then tried installing netscape and it came up with an error (no connection to the internet)  I have talked to aol and they say I need to call microsoft. When I try loading aol it stops in the middle no particular error it will not finish.

The ISP is your Internet Service Provider. Request instructions from them.

internet options/connections/select "use lan" and "never dial a connection". Default is always dial up and windows/browsers will try to dial a connection if lan is not selected.
