my computer i bought from asus model P4P8T
so sad i lost my driver cd

I installed the driver already, but after there is no sound!

Why do you need to reinstall your soundcard drivers?

because the windows xp can't find the driver for the sound card, that's why i been looking for the driver

Have you reformatted or has something  damaged your drivers?

Try this page. You can obtain AC '97 codecs there. I believe these are general drivers.

You should obtain a codec (driver) at the website I linked you to in my previous post.
