    icons on Windows 7
    « on: July 08, 2011, 02:51:56 PM »
Ive got a new laptop running Windows 7 and I copied my XP desktop over to it. All but a couple of the icons are now the default 'E' in a square box. I quite liked the unique to the program icons. Do I have to live with this?

Your post is a little confusing for me. Are you talking about downgrading from Win 7 to XP? What is copying desktop, icons?

I copied the icons from my XP machine to the Windows 7 laptop and they all look the same now (the Explorer sign) instead of being unique to that link.

This is a favicon issue, isn't it?
