I'm part of the editing team for the school news and use iMovie for the production and i was wondering...

Is it possible to combine multiple clips into one clip? If so, how? Is it possible to keep the transitions?

I'm no exptert with this application, but can't you just insert from file? It should then add it to your clip, no? Ask your instructor...
