yahoo mail not opening on my mac

hi all, I am having Imac desktop with safari. Suddenly i have discovered that Yahoo mail and yahoo pages dont get opened while i am still able to access gmail a/c and other applications.
please help :D

not 100% on what is going on here. are you trying to access Yahoo mail through an internet explorer, or are you trying to open an app that retrieves the emails. if so, are you just trying to open this app, or are you trying to get it to open on start up

    On a Mac, a website can be blocked with parental controls, or for sites like yahoo - if java is turned off in the settings. Without an error message or something to point to an issue, it could be any number of issues.

    If you can provide an error, that may be helpful.

      Their web server may temporarily down as well. Can you access the yahoo email inbox now?
