[HELP] Changing IP

So, I recently switched my ISP, and now I have a router and modem. With router, I easily changed my IP, but now idk how to do it with router and modem, I tried unplugging router. Did not work. Hope someone can help me on how to do it with router+modem. D-link is my router, webstar my modem.


edit: Just tried unplugging both modem and router, still wont change.

You weren't changing your external IP, you were changing the LAN IP.  If you have a really good reason for needing a different IP you can talk to your ISP and they can change it for you.  They won't however do it just on a whim or daily basis

You also won't be able to choose what your external IP is changed to.
