a problem with tomb raider 4 and 5
« on: July 02, 2004, 06:21:59 PM »
i have a problem with tomb raider 4 and 5..i hope someone help..
anyway..the problem happens when i start shooting at a target ..the picture
jumbles and the sound jumbles as well...causing a very upsetting slowdown in the game
everytime i start shooting..but when i finish shooting ,everything runs normally
without any problem...once there is another target to shoot at,the
picture and sound jumbles again!!!!...

i have savage4 32bit as vedio card, creative soundblaster audio PCI(OEM) as sound card
, 128 MB of ram and 800Mhz is the processor speed...BTW,i tried to reduce the sound acceleration
in direct x preference to "basic" but the problem is not solved though..."no acceleration" actually solved
it but on the expense of sound quality.....so plz ,if there a way
to stop this jumbling without reducing the sound acceleration,i hope
someone help me...

I donot know what the minimum specifications for Tomb Raider 4 and 5 are.

You should update both your soundcard drivers and videocard drivers.

We will require more details.

I assume these games are not legal, otherwise you would have told me the minmum specifications that are printed on the backside of the box.

I suggest you look them up on the official webpage of Tomb Raider and compare your system to see if your system specifications are adequate to those required for Tomb Raider 4 and 5.
