black screen and keeps rebooting

When I turn on my computer (A Compaq Laptop) all the lights come on and the screen stays black and after a min or so lights go off and back on if you put the computer up to your ear you can hear beeps, the fan does run

 more info , model # , any info thats written on it . more than one beep means something is wrong and we just need to learn the language {computers have many different beep codes depending on make and model and most importantly the make of the bios}

If he has to hold it up to his ear to hear the "beeps", it's not a beep code.
